
Ken Campbell has 30 years of experience in start-ups and
reorganization of technology and service organizations.
Ken currently serves on
the Board of Directors of Dedicated Devices Inc.
and as CEO from October, 2005. From 1999 until March
2005, he served on the board of directors of
RHDonnelley Corporation, the 5th largest
independent yellow pages company in the world. (NYSE:
RHD) and also serves as an advisor to KeyWhere Inc. a
division of Performance Analytics Corporation, Palo
Alto, CA.
From 2002 to 2004, Ken was
President and CEO of WAGIC Inc., San Jose, CA., a
company that develops and licenses products for various
consumer markets; hand tools, electronics, sold through
Big Box Retailers. He continues to be on the Board of
Advisors of WAGIC Inc.
As founder, President and CEO of
Centegy Corporation in late 1998, Centegy was among
the first eService integrators to focus on Supply Chain
Management. As the company gained clients in the small
to mid-sized market (SMEs) a revolutionary software
package, Remote Integrator ™ was developed to link
disparate technologies via the Internet. Multiple
patents have been awarded for this software.
Before founding Centegy
Corporation, Ken was co-founder and EVP of
Affiliate Sales & Operations for USWEB Corporation,
where he developed the franchise channel program,
responsibility for all field support services,
including; training, MIS, technical and national sales
programs and support. USWEB’s IPO was 12/97 on the
NASDAQ exchange.
From 1992 to 1995, Ken was
Vice President / General Manager, North America for
Inmac Corporation, (NASDAQ: CDW) a worldwide direct
seller of computer hardware, software and supplies to
corporate America with revenue of $425 million.
He returned the North America operation to
profitability after 6 years of losses enabling sale of
Company to MicroWarehouse Corp in 1995.
In 1990, Ken founded
Advanced Partners, an organization specializing in
marketing, sales and operations consulting to venture
capital and investor groups.
From 1988 to 1990, Ken was
Chief Operating Officer of CopyMat Corporation
where he reorganized the company and implemented growth
and cost cutting strategies enabling franchisees to grow
their businesses, in may cases 4-fold. He pioneered desktop publishing profit centers within the CopyMat franchises. CopyMat Corp was sold to CPI
Corporation following the reorganization.
From 1985 to 1988, Ken was
co-founder and Vice President of Sales & Operations for
USTelecenters, a national network of retail
telecommunications stores.
In 1982 to 1985, Ken was
employee #11 at Businessland Inc., and as
Director of Store Sales & Operations he led the national
expansion of the retail computer reseller. He led the
teams responsible for opening 48 stores across the
United States and also staffing 1200 sales, technical
and administrative positions in less than 3 years. He
was named Employee of the Year in 1985 by Dave Norman,
Chairman and CEO. Businessland’s IPO was 11/83 on
the NYSE.
Early in his career, Ken was a systems specialist and accountant with Crown
Zellerbach Corporation and spent 10 years in the
automobile industry as a computer ERP specialist and
later as a General Motors Dealership GM.
Ken studied Business
Management at the University of Delaware, IBM SE School,
Reynolds & Reynolds SE Certification and various
disciplines at the General Motors Dealer University,
Toyota Dealer Certification and IBM PC Sales
Certification, Xerox PSS and Wilson Learning Sales. |
